PWF CHILD SPOTLIGHT
Chloe, Age 1

Chloe was is one of the most adorable patients we have helped. At a year old she was diagnosed with anaplastic ependymoma.  She has been in the hospital for over 3 months, which has really financially stressed the family. Since her hospitalization she has been treated for 2 cases of meningitis, swelling and then finally was able to resume her radiation therapy. She spent a lot of time in the ICU. Her dad was on unpaid leave from his job at a pharmacy warehouse and her mom works teaching English online to children in China. We just got a bit of good news that Chloe was transferred to our inpatient rehab so we are hoping for no more hospitalizations anymore.

PWF has helped this family with over 14 of their home and household bills so that they could spend the time they had with their sweet little one who needed them at the hospital.

THANK YOU!

Our 3rd annual Palette event was our most successful to date. Thanks to the amazing sponsors, artists, auction contributors, restaurants, patrons and donors, we were able to raise enough to support 18 additional families this year! Cheers to those who made that possible!

The Payton Wright Foundation is 100% community funded to help families whose children have pediatric brain or spinal cord cancer. We work with hospital social workers to find families that are struggling financially because caring for a child with cancer often requires a leave from work. We pay these family's bills, like rent, utility bills, car payments, so that they can spend their time focusing on their child. If you would like to help us with this mission please donate now!
