MISSION: THE PAYTON WRIGHT FOUNDATION FINANCIALLY ASSISTS FAMILIES WHO HAVE CHILDREN BEING TREATED FOR CANCER OF THE BRAIN AND SPINAL CORD.
SUPPORT FAMILIES WHEN THEY NEED IT MOST
All families face severe financial burdens when they have a child with brain cancer. Treatments are expensive and may only be available some distance from home. Parents have to take time off work to attend appointments and care for their child, and special equipment is often needed. The Payton Wright Foundation provides assistance by paying for gas cards, monthly rent, mortgage, and utility bills directly to the companies for these families. Often times bills must be paid the same day to prevent utilities from being shut off or an eviction.
A LITTLE BIT GOES A LONG WAY...
The Payton Wright Foundation helps families when they need it most. After their child is diagnosed with pediatric brain cancer, most times they end up either taking a leave of absence or quitting their jobs to spend the weeks and weeks it requires for treatment in the hospital. At this crucial time with their child, the last thing they should be focused on is how they are going to keep their water turned back on. Our number one request from families is gas cards and flights because often times families have to travel outside of their area and sometimes outside of their state to get to the doctor for treatment. Your donation to the Payton Wright Foundation helps families with basic everyday expenses, gas cards, mortgage/rent payments, utility bills and more, right when they need it most.
