Help children who are going through brain cancer treatment by coming out and knitting a hat or blanket for them. You don't even need to know how to knit. Instruction will be provided.
Children receiving chemotherapy treatment often experience the devastating side-effect of losing their hair. In addition, these courageous patients and their families are often subject to long hospital stays during treatment with few comforts and limited emotional support.Let's help these children who are fighting for their lives, feel cozy in during their hospital stay. we will be knitting blankets and hats to send to them. This is a 3 part event, dates:

Bring your own yarn, pattern and knitting needles or crochet hooks. We will provide refreshments and instruction.
Please note that a child going through chemotherapy loses their hair and has very sensitive skin. Make sure you choose a very soft yarn and use larger than normal hooks/needles so that there is more space between stitches to allow the hat to breathe.
